Kim Clay
After 8 weeks at OWL, Kim accepted a full-time job as a Financial Collector for Credit Bureau Systems that pays $10/hour, plus commission. Over a year later, Kim still holds this position. Her hard work has enabled her to move into a place of her own and purchase a car so that she is no longer entirely dependent on public transportation.

Sarah Willoughby
Through much hard work and determination, Ms. Willoughby was able to begin classes at TMI in November of 2009, less than three months after her second child was born. Ms. Willoughby has shown focus and motivation in working with the Community Liaison Caseworker and states that she looks forward to "securing employment and no longer relying on K-TAP benefits". Zandra Shuck
Shuck was referred to SEEC's Transitioning to Independence for People (TIP) program in October of 2009 with a need to continue her Community Service placement, transportation issues, explore her options in furthering her education and to schedule a hearing and vision exam. Together the CLC worker and Ms. Shuck enrolled the children in daycare and completed testing and scheduling at the college. The Community Liaison CaseWorker encouraged Ms. Shuck to complete her volunteer hours while focusing on her career goals and family. Adrieanna Adams
With the help of the TIP program, Ms. Adams was able to complete her 90 days of successful employment in January of 2009 and received a $100 employment bonus, followed by her completion of 180 days obtaining an additional $100 bonus in April of that year. Ms. Adams enrolled in college after being successfully discharged from the TIP program and still remains in contact with her caseworker and the SEEC office. View The Entire Story »
